1. In music, a serenade (or sometimes serenata) is a musical composition, and/or performance, in someone's honor. A new brand of music reality.
SERENADE offers a new brand of music reality show-- one that shifts the focus from creating musical superstars to creating music for everyday people who are equally deserving of the spotlight.
On SERENADE, we aim to create original music (at the request of our viewers) for individuals who are worthy of praise. As far we’re concerned, anyone who assists and inspires their family members, friends, and community while facing hardships, or hurdling over the everyday obstacles associated with daily life...is entitled to a musical accolade and a song of their own.
We’d like to enlist a wide range of musical talent (from A-List music celebrities to undiscovered bands) to help us recreate a forgotten tradition –- serenading unsung heroes who are overdue for acknowledgement -- and generate some inspirational, and entertaining television while we’re at it.
SERENADE isn’t another reality competition--it’s a musical tribute. For all of us.
